Here is where you will see how we made our film. Behind the scenes, brainstorming, production, how we did different things and anything else that led us to the final product.
The Music
|
At first, we decided that we would produce our own soundtrack to fit in with the theme of our opening title sequence. This way it would give our production a sense of individuality. As we had our own instruments, it would give our product a sense of individuality if the music was new or original. This idea ended up not working as we couldn't record the sounds as well as we'd hoped. Given this fact, we decided to use the soundtrack from Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (2014) along with overlays of other 'horror' soundtracks to create a unique and immersive sound.

Preliminary Task
We were given the task to record a preliminary task, in which we must demonstrate how to film a conversation. The video to the right is the correct version which includes many skills used to film, including cutting scenes so that they look like they flow correctly, the 180 degree rule and how to use the camera correctly and accurately to get shots of a high standard.

Production company
|
Production companies are the companies that produce a film, they each have a certain logo or introduction that will show that they made it. We decided to make ours like this as it looks interesting and professional, yet keeps the horror vibe that production companies use to show that they produce horror films.
|
Distribution company
We created the production company with a military vibe to it. Having a tracker race around the world fitted in brilliantly with the plot of our horror. Keeping to the genre, it also has a spooky effect which gives the audience the idea that they would have no where to hide. The fact that it's all over the world is a must for distribution companies, so the idea of it racing around the globe helped to amplify this effect.
