Today we learned how to make edible fake blood for use in our movie. There were many types available including: Gravy based, Icing based, granulated and smooth peanut butter and tomato ketchup based. Our group created a tomato ketchup based fake blood as I was in charge of providing the sauce. To create it we used 10 teaspoons of tomato sauce, 5 tea spoons of red food colouring, 7 teaspoons of syrup and 200 ml of water.
To test, Ryan was to hold a small amount in his mouth and let it run down his top to see how effective and viscous our blood was. I spilt the blood over Ryan also to check the colour and how believable it would be. Other groups tested their blood and we concluded that granulated peanut butter would work best for Zombies due to the high viscosity and peanut butter bits
